Types and functions of fertilizers

Fertilizers include ammonium phosphate fertilizers, macroelement water-soluble fertilizers, medium element fertilizers, biological fertilizers, organic fertilizers, multidimensional field energy concentrated organic fertilizers, etc. Fertilizers can supply the nutrients needed for crop growth and development, improve soil properties, and increase crop yield and quality. Fertilizers are a necessity in agricultural production. The nutrient elements necessary for plants include nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. The lack of any element will affect the normal growth and development of crops.

Fertilizer refers to a class of substances that provide one or more essential nutrient elements for plants, improve soil properties, and increase soil fertility levels. It is one of the material bases of agricultural production. For example, nitrogen deficiency in plants will lead to short and thin plants, and abnormal green leaves such as yellow-green and yellow-orange. When nitrogen deficiency is severe, crops will senescence and mature prematurely, and yield will drop significantly. Only by increasing nitrogen fertilizer can the damage be alleviated.

Fertilizer storage method:

 (1) Fertilizers should be stored in a dry and cool place, especially when storing ammonium bicarbonate, the packaging should be tightly sealed to avoid contact with air.

(2) Nitrogen fertilizers should be stored away from sunlight, fireworks are strictly prohibited, and should not be piled together with diesel, kerosene, firewood and other items.

(3) Chemical fertilizers cannot be stacked with seeds, and do not use chemical fertilizers to pack seeds, so as not to affect seed germination.
